O&M FC (Universidad Organización y Método) are playing in their first Champions Cup having finished as runners-up in the 2025 Caribbean Cup.
The Dominican Republic side, based in Santo Domingo finished fifth in the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol in 2025. They won their last domestic league in 2020 when they finished top of both the regular season table and won the playoff championships.
Known as La Universidad (or The University), O&M FC was founded in 1974 and plays their home matches at the 27,000-capacity Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez, which is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic and hosted the 2003 Pan-Am Games. The stadium is also home to the Dominican Republic National Team.
The club have been managed by Spaniard Jose Aparicio since November 2025. The 35-year old-coach prefers a 4-2-3-1 formation.
His key players include goalkeeper Omry Bello (22), veteran right back Yoan Melo (31) and defensive midfielder Isaac Báez (23).
Going forward Julen Manterola lead the club’s scoring with six goals from midfield.
With most of the squad under the age of 25, Anyelo Gómez (23) is the main centre-forward, while left winger Frantzety Herard (23) found form at the crucial time with five goals in the Caribbean Cup.
His key players include goalkeeper Omry Bello, veteran right back Yoan Melo and defensive midfielder Isaac Báez.
